Dr. Mohammad Al-Mamun has served in various capacities throughout his distinguished medical career. As a former Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer (UH&FPO) at Upazila Health Complex, Bancharampur, Brahmanbaria, he gained extensive experience in community healthcare and surgical interventions.
Currently, at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital, Dr. Al-Mamun performs complex oncological surgeries including breast cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, anal cancer, gastric (stomach) cancer, esophageal (food pipe) cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, bile duct cancer, retroperitoneal tumors, sarcomas, thyroid cancer, and limb-sparing cancer surgeries. He also performs cancer-related procedures including biopsies, chemo port placement, and pre-chemotherapy markers.
